In efforts to address this issue, and further assist our clients, INTERLINK offers our CancerCare Network consisting of nationally recognized cancer centers. Each center is an NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and has a pre-existing BMT contract in the INTERLINK "Centers of Excellence" style Transplant Network.

Given the complexity and high costs of congenital heart disease procedures, they, like transplants, are also best controlled by using surgical providers with proven experience. When credentialing providers in our "Centers of Excellence" style transplant network, INTERLINK selected pediatric heart transplant programs which also had proven experience in complex pediatric heart surgery. INTERLINK developed credentialing and contracting standards specifically for this program.
